  1. That's great.

But the single thing I am really missing is library management and folder watching a la Picasa.

I don't know why, but like the banshee devs you assume that people have fun in importing their stuff all the time, whenever I have some new photos, the whole procedure again.

    That stuff should be automatic.

  2. Music apps should watch ~/Music recursively, and photo apps should watch ~/Pictures, recursively-- by default.

  3. Great work!

Will there be special Clutter effect for F-Spot Slideshow?

  4. Yeah, definetly, those apps should watch folders for new photos and also automatically sync selected folder or albums with online services. Picasa gets the photo management task much better then F-Spot, unfortunately.

(Although I would like photo watching as stated above. ;-) )

  7. Funny how every improvement is followed by feature requests in the comments :) Thanks Stephane.

  8. @jimmac

The problem about this feature is that, for me and probably others, it's essential. And since F-Spot is the default in Ubuntu and probably others, and there are no really good alternatives this means for me that there is no acceptable foto management application for Gnome, and that's annoying.

I know this post must seem like a flame/troll, but it's my honest opinion.
